There are many ways if the image is postprocessed, and PS probably is the
easiest.  Doesn't help the slide, though, for those of us without film
recorders ;-).  From a practical standpoint, the edge falloff from a
long-axis shift usually isn't as objectionable as the variation in sky tone
that often results from using a polarizer with a wide-angle lens.
