Hi Ken, Not all tubes are the same. One-time list member Olle Bjernulf dissected his Kenko 25mm tube and found some electronics inside: http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/8917/tube.html If you are able, I suggest getting the Kenko set of 3 tubes (12,20,36) instead. These have only a direct electrical connection (i.e. NO ELECTRONICS). The ability to produce different combinations of extension is almost as good as a bellows or a tube with helical extension (not available for EF mount). Pricing might vary from one place to the next: I bought mine in Australia for about half the price at local retailers in Canada! Edwin Leong also reported getting a good deal on the Kenko set from a Vancouver retailer! http://www.camerahobby.com/Access-LensAccessories.htm Cheers Julian Loke P.S. Apparently other brands, e.g. Hansa, cause vignetting: http://www.d.kth.se/~nv92-fst/foto.html * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
