Hi all, A local store is selling used filters in a garage-sale fashion. They have a box outside and you can pick 'em up. Yesterday I bought a 58mm (hamma) & 52mm (B+W) for about �4 each ($3.5) they are all loose and many of them a bit scratched, but if you need some brass rings to make you own filters (or try the vaseline thing for soft focus effects) they are perfect. If you would like me to pick one for you, drop me a line. I'll go today at noon (GTM +1) to get some slides back and I can have a second look in the box. Yesteday I saw many 52mm B+W, some 62mm (various brands), lots of 55mm (B+W and others) and also FL-B 62mm (what are those for? fluo to daylight is FL-D, isn't it? is FL-B fluo-to-'B'ungsten??? :-) ;-) ). [[Needless to say, you pay for the post]]
BTW, I also found a broken EF 35-80mm for �7.5 ($6.6). I'll play Frankenstein with it when I have some time. :-) ;-) I'm thinking of an adaptor to Reverse the lens on the EOS... I'll see :-) ;-) I'd really like to try the 28-135IS reversed. The report of WJM is promissing.
