I think you should sell your old lens -- to ME!  :-D

Seriously, I have been looking for a second-hand 70-200 f/2.8L.  I foolishly
thought that more than usual would show up in the market with the
introduction of the IS version, but that hasn't been the case, at least so
far.  Several on eBay (usually by sellers with questionable history and
almost all overpriced), one in KEH's used department that was not much of a
deal, and nothing at B&H.

Is the IS version not selling/being supplied well?  Are buyers hanging onto
their old lenses?  Are the old lenses being snapped up as soon as they go on
the market.

My husband and I agreed that a used 70-200 f/2.8 would be my birthday
present.  Since my birthday was on September 5, I knew I wouldn't get my
present on time, but this is frustrating.  :-P
