Probably because most of the time, the eyes are shaded ;-)
I'll try to get partial metering reading, which shouldn't be more than 2
stops lower than the scene.
Also, please note that it's not that it would not focus at all, just not
reliably and with lots of hunting.
Maybe we shouldn't be arguing about whether Canon specifies EV 0 or EV 1 as
the lower limit of AF, we should instead ask Canon for EV -2 feature. :)
