Help! I've been trying to decide on a body, and had just about settled on the 3, when I heard that it can only syncronize with studio strobes at 1/125. I don't see that anywhere on Canon's site or in the other site's comparisons, where the speed is listed as 1/200 (most of the others are 1/250, odd). Any knowledge of that? This is important to me, since one thing I'm looking for is high sync speed.
The 3 seemed like a good fit because of slightly lower weight, perhaps better AF speed than the 1n, and lower cost. However, if the above is right, then I need to decide between the 1v and the 1n. I would prefer the 1n because of (slightly) less weight, and again, lower cost, but I wonder if the 45 spot array helps AF accuracy. I tested an 1n several times, and once, (with a 70-200L), it simply couldn't snap into focus. The subject seemed easy--light dancer against black seamless. Otherwise, it worked great. any thoughts? thanks matt Matt Haber dance, portrait and fashion photography http://www.matthaber.com * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
