1n is a good camera for its' times, but it's been out of production for a
while, so you are unlikely to find a new unit.

Unless you need the best possible weatherproofing or the durability of
magnesium alloy chassis on the 1V, the EOS-3 should be sufficient.

The EOS-3 is capable of high sync speed beyond 1/200 sec, but only with
dedicated Canon flash in high speed sync mode, although recent reports seem
to indicate at least one 3rd party manufacturer has come out with the
equivalent of 550EX flash.  Note however the high speed sync mode reduces
the effective flash output power due to the way it works.
