I would like to ask if any users out there have had a similar problem to my new Sigma 20mm f/1.8 EX lens. I bought this for my EOS3, as a super wide angle lens for scenery and interior shots.
When shot wide open, my sigma lens exhibits substantial blurring to the right hand side of the frame. The middle and left hand side of the frame remains sharp. When stopped down to f/13, the lens is much sharper across the whole film plane. By f/16, the lens is very sharp and no lens fault is visible. I bought this lens brand new in a box. I'm somewhat disappointed to see that this lens has had such a problem. Does anyone know what can cause this kind of lens problem?
