The master flash may also be out of reach (e.g. outside the hide).
Also, I have read some (more or less reliable) comment that the
camera body (EOS-3) was fried when the Sigma flash was used
(probably due to faulty flash or body?).

So, nobody owns the EF-500 Super with manual?
