In first I was very interested to buy the 70-200 IS lens. But the price and the weight make me doubting about this purchase.
I have used a 100-400 IS in low light conditions hand-held, and I has blurred shots.After a moment it's hard to stay sturdy... And the 70-200 IS is heavier than the old one (already enough heavy !)... It's hard to not blur the picture, but it's also hard to obtain the desired framing IS or not... I'll probably buy a used 70-200/2,8L USM at a good price...
