Hi, Daniel,

think about the 80-200/2.8L as well. I bought a used one in June and
would never give it away. It is just an excellent lens, it keeps pace
with my 300/4 L IS USM in all situations. It doesn't jump into your eye
as being "L" (because it's black) and it doesn't work with the newer
Canon extenders (if I am not mistaken) but if these two facts don't
affect you this would probably be the best bargain (but be warned, it
looks small in comparison to the 70-200/2.8 but it weighs in at about
1400 grams, so it certainly does not compete in the featherweight
division),
