I bought a used one in June and would never give it away. It is just an excellent lens, it keeps pace with my 300/4 L IS USM in all situations. It doesn't jump into your eye as being "L" (because it's black) and it doesn't work with the newer Canon extenders (if I am not mistaken) but if these two facts don't affect you this would probably be the best bargain (but be warned, it looks small in comparison to the 70-200/2.8 but it weighs in at about 1400 grams, so it certainly does not compete in the featherweight division), Greetings from Germany - Ralf -- My animal photo page on the WWW: http://schmode.net Find my PGP keys (RSA and DSS/DH) on PGP key servers (use "TrustCenter" certified keys only) * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
