Hello, I was thinking of trying to take pictures of this weekends meteor shower peak with my Canon Rebel XS. However, I was wondering how quickly the camera would go through batteries with the longer exposures and cool weather (approx 50 degrees F or less). Anyone have any idea? Also, any guesses as to what kind of exposures should I use with a 50 mm 1.4 lens and Kodak Tmax 400 film? Yes, I have a tripod. Thanks in advance for any help provided.
