I received a 135mm f/2 L USM today. Is it unusual for filters to be extremely difficult to screw in and to squeek a lot? It's like the threads are damaged. This happened with every filter I tried. My other lenses take filters easily. Also, my lens seems to not want to lock focus. It hunts a lot. The 70-200mm f/2.8 did fine in the same conditions. Could the lens have suffered some type of impact damage? I'm already scheduled to return the lens. Thanks.
