B&H Photo (www.bhphoto.com) and Adorama (www.adorama.com) are the two
reputable NY dealers, avoid the rest if you want to be treated fairly AND
get a good price. Cameraworld (www.cameraworld.com) of Oregon is also has a
pretty good reputation.

Buying mail order also saves local sales tax, which is usualy more than
shipping. As for the your price, $349.99 seems pretty fair if that's the
price for both camera and lens.

You might look at a couple of the other kit options, like the B&H kit which
has the newer 28-90mm lens, or the Adorama version with the 55-200 USM lens.
They're about the same price.
