Hi,
I have a EF100/2 USM and compared to my zoom EF28-105/3.5-4.5 the motor
noise is noticeably louder (not noisy by any standard, but definitely
louder). Is this generally the case? Or, is there something up with the
100/2? I suppose it could be the bigger glass causing the motor to make
more noise, but I seem to remember that my friend's 100/2 lens is not very
loud. I may have to try to get his lens for a comparison. thanks.
