I can't find a switch...
But I don't think it makes a difference. I've just attached one half of a
scrapped teleconvertor to the camera. It is (was) an original Canon, so i'm
pretty sure that any switches have been tripped. But it doesn't make a
difference, it still get exposures 3 stops under.
