Usage is trivial. Set camera to Programm mode. Aperature will be
displayed as 0.0 or 1.0. Ignore that, you work stopped down.
I usually simply set the lens to f11 or f13 and set the distance to
hyperfocal distance. So I don't focus at all. Works great.

No compensation needed. Use any given metering mode.
