Check out this article from Neil. I found it to very helpful: http://teladesign.com/photo/manual-lenses.html Also I got my Zenitar from the same guy as Neil. Mine came with an EOS mount that screwed to the back of the lens. This is the way to do. I purchased an M42 version of this lens and then an M42 to EOS adapter from B&H. This was fine except, the lens would not be stopped down. There was a pin in back that closed the aperture blades and the adapter did not hold the blades down. I had to shot at f2.8 all the time. The EOS mount version that I have does not have the aperture pin. So when you set the aperture, it stays stopped down. I got mine from Kiev Camera off Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1302709464 Darrell D. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
