I don't see that it could have been shipping damage. The packages were in very nice shape, and the problems were with the details. It really bothered me that the second lens was so dirty. Used lenses look cleaner. The first lens could have been bad luck, definitely. The second lens was inexcusable IMO. On the other hand, the used equipment I've been getting has been great. I've really noticed Canon has great resale value. That's not necessarily good at buying time, but great at trade-in time. Thanks.
