To answer your question: (Read it like the Russian guy in the movie
"Armagedon") : 'USA Flash, European Flash, they are all made in Taiwan'...
;-) Just kidding.
Now, seriously. There's no difference AT ALL between one and another. Only
warranty conditions change, but as you're going to take it out of the US, a
"USA" warranty is no good for you anyway, so you could go for the much
cheaper 'grey' price ("Imported" in vendor words).
You should check NY-Camera (in Germany). I got my 550ex from them and their
price was *very* good in comparison to the local stores. Check it out at
http://www.ny-camera.net the current price is � 397,27 (euros in case the
symbol doesn't show), what I find quite good.
