Hi,

I have a 100-400 IS lens, and had noticed a small amount of play when
mounted on my EOS3. The lens rotates, only about 1-2 mm, on the lens mount.
I was wondering whether this was the body or the lens. I have subsequently
got an EOS1V, and have also noticed this movement. There is no movement with
any of my other lenses on either of the two bodies, so have concluded that
it is the lens that is causing this.

My question is, has anybody else noticed this movement with this lens, and
is this a problem that I should get fixed? The lens is still under warranty,
although I purchased the lens from New York Camera in Germany and I live in
the UK, so I am not sure how I would get it repaired, but I should be able
to sort it out.

TIA

Steve Kefford
