Hi Chip
Of the L lenses, I have the EF 17-35/2.8L and the EF 500/4L, and there is no
play on these on either of my bodies. I also have the 28-135 IS, the 50/1.8
MkII and the 70-300 IS, the 1.4X MKI and the 2.0X MKII, and there is no play
with any of these either. It is just the 100-400L.
Anyway it would appear that I have nothing to worry about, which is my main
concern.
