My remote control for my TV is dying, so I bought a universal remote from One for All, so that I can consolidate my TV, VCR, and DVD remotes. But it occurred to me that the remote control for the Elan 7 (the RC-1) is also an IR controller. Can a universal remote be programmed to emulate the functions of the RC-1? If so, what code do I use?
The remote is a learning remote, so I could teach the controller the commands, but that means I would need to get my hands on one.
