Hi Ken,
You can help us byu telling us what you are going to use it for :-) It is not an SLR - slow focusing, zooming etc. When you want to zoom to a person, it takes quite a while. Has shutter lag which bugs me. Can be connected to and be directed by a laptop. Great image quality, compatct (too compact for my taste). G1 with a flash on it was a but unbalanced. Not too much but noticable. G1 had flash issues even with Canon EX flashes. Not sure if Canon solved those. Also some say it works with studio flash and some say it does not.... The swivel LCD screen is great for street photogarphy. I tried it before trying a Olympus E-10. E-10 seems leaps and bounds better in terms of handling, but then it is 1.5 the price.... by the way, not sure if it is OT, it is a Canon based on many EOS qualities... > -----Original Message----- > From: Ken Durling [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Saturday, December 08, 2001 4:33 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: EOS OT: G2 digital > > > Hi folks - > > I know this is OT, but I'm hoping maybe somebody on this list who is > an experienced film photographer and EOS user has some impressions of > the Powershot G2.
