I shot a few frames at my local shop's Canon Days a couple weeks ago. They said if you didn't put your name on the waiting list when they announced them, then it would be a long, long time before you could get one. I live in Iowa, and Canon USA in NY has ten for the state. And they're already spoken for by PJs.
It was cool though. I just wish it had a video out and an LCD zoom. And a CMOS. And 6MP. The shutter was *really* sensitive on the one I had. (It was a full production model) I went to take a shot - just one shot - and I probably inadvertently fired off three or four frames before my brain could tell my finger to LET UP. -Trenton > From: "Kotsinadelis, Peter (Peter)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: Fri, 14 Dec 2001 08:31:00 -0800 > To: "'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: RE: EOS 1D AF aperture > > > > Anyone actually try a 1D yet?
