Hi all,

Has anyone performed some test on TTL metering with orange and red
filters? I find that my EOS50E overexposes about 1 stops when a red25
filter is placed on the lens. A orange filter seem to tweak the
lightmeter for a good 1/2 stop and I'm going to speak about a 87B that
should still work (it's not completely opaque) but it causes at least 3
stops overexposure.
My numbers are not really exact and I'd like to know if somebody has
performed more serious test and has a kind of table with exposure
compensations for those filters.

Note: Filters leaning to the other side of the spectum seem not to
affect the metering. Blue, green and yellow filters perfom as expected.

Kind regards,

Gerard.

PS: Yesterday I finally got my issue of EOS Magazine. I'm so happy of
seeing my pictures published! yes!! It's a very special feeling of
photographic success for an amateur like me.
