The real one to watch out for is called windows.exe. Delete it now. If
you have that on your computer chances are it will run inefficiently,
crash several times a day and require upgrading every year ... the
upgrades costing increasingly more each time.

Now that is a nasty virulent hoax that millions have been caught up
by.
