Yep, you're right, it must be the color. What did I think of?? Why would it be any better for nature photography... But, I suppose it has all the preferences to be my tripod for dipper photography. :) I only wonder if it is sturdy enough to carry the almost 3kgs weigth of my EOS-1N + E-1 + the lens. And the head, it must be sturdy enough too.
