Thanks for the fast and good feedback.
Based on what you said I was going to give it a try. In case it was too bad, the
store gives 6 month warranty and they know me, so maybe I could talk them into
returning it.

All that said, I went to the store the very next day and it was gone!  GONE...
:-(

I should have followed my 'photo-buying instincts'... In the same store I found
my 50/f1.8 MK1 for EUR30. That was 1 year ago and it still works fine (except
for minor used-inflicted wounds)
