Do yourself a favour and don't sell that 50/1.8. It's one of the most cost
effective lenses in the EF lineup.
According to Photodo it's quite a bit sharper than a 28-135, and it's
ofcourse a lot faster. You might think that the IS will make the 28-135 just
as fast, but that's only part of it. IS only reduces vibration due to
camera-shake, but not the blur caused by moving of the subject.
