Herman,

Do you need this for portability? If so I favor the Omnibounce.
The Lumiquest is good but larger and you need to attach velcro
around the flash. Takes longer to put on.
There is another choice. Check out the Two-way bounce from Sto-Fen.

It is a better made white card and should provide soft light.
For portraits, I use direct and occassionally put a small piece 
of white cloth in front of the flash to soften the lighting.
Sometimes if I have more time, I bounce it into an unbrella but
you need a fast lens and shooting at about F4-5.6 which should be
the minimum aperture as larger you would lose the focus of 
the ears when you focus on the eyes.
