Hi,

I agree, photos taken by the guests can sometimes add tremendous flavor to
the images captured at an event.  Throw away camera photos can and do add a
lot to the cost of an event and they certainly won't look as good as the
images take by the pro but a pro photographer won't know all of the inside
jokes and relationships so won't get them on film.  Also I don't care how
many professional photographers are covering an event they cannot be every
where all the time.  Most of the best footage of events such as 911 were
captured by armatures, not pros.  Like the time I saw a photo taken by a
friend of the recent groom and a bride's maid um, fully engaged as it were.
