I usually sit back and learn from the exchanges between you two guys.
This time I have to add my nickel's worth..... I agree with Peter. The
Tamron is more versatile because of it's construction and, to my eye, as
good as the Canon. The only downfall is that you don't spend as much
money and it doesn't say Canon on it.
