Personally, I found that ACDSee is the fastest image viewer with "explorer" type interface I've ever used, but recent versions (3.x and higher) are way overloaded with image manipulation functions and web hokey pokey. If I want/need to work on a file, I can always fire up Photoshop. I'll continue to use 2.3. irfanview is smaller, but not quit as fast. It is also free. Could somebody explain what those database/management functions in thumbsplus are used for? I would have use for a system which keeps track of the "history" of an image, i.e. which steps have been done to create the effect, and what is the original image.
