I have to ask...if you have a Sekonic light meter and want to do 
multiple small flash setup on manual mode...why are you using the 
expensive Canon flashes?

IME you'd be better off to get a couple of Vivitar 283's with 
varipower modules and flash sensor slaves.  Use your sekonic meter to 
set the flashes for the desired output then shoot away.

I do this often on really quick down and dirty shoots where I have a 
small area to light and need speed and battery strobes.  I have 1 
283, 1 285.  You can even set these vivitar strobes then shoot the 
Canon on camera for auto fill to get a 3 light looking setup.
