You know what the sad thing is?
Even back in 1994/95 you could buy better AF-performance with an 
EOS-digicam than with the D30/60 today....with a 1n-based DCS-1/3/5.
For, today, a fraction of the money too....:))
(plus heaps of storage-capacity with relatively cheap PCMCIA-cards)
Not as much pixels of course, but who cares for web-use....:))
