Yes, it's true. I used to own an Elan IIe, and used the DOF preview from time to time. >Interesting feature if so. Or is it? It was the only way to get DOF Preview on the Elan IIe. There was no DOF button (although you may have been able to CF DOF to the AE lock button but I cant remember). Canon used a little Icon in the upper left hand corner IIRC. >If it's real, IS it useful? If you need DOF preview then yes it was. And again, it was the only way to get DOF preview. I wish I had the option for the EOS 3 as well as the button.
