This won't work. Most Nikon lenses use stone age technology - motors
in the body driving the lenses through a screwdriver blade. You'll
have to get a powerful motor in that 1mm of space :)

Or... you could conceive of a fatter adapter with an AF-drive motor
and some sort of teleconverter to make up for the added
extension. You'll probably lose infinity focus.
