I've noticed that all the ad copy for the new 16-35 L zoom talks about its
use with digital cameras.  Because of the 1.6x (D30 and D60) or 1.3x
(EOS-1D) focal length multipliers, this would mean that the far right 15-20%
or so of the lens' MTF chart is irrelovent.  It could be crap in this area
and not show up on a digital image.

How many people out there own one of these lenses and use it with 35mm film?
Any comments on edge performance?  Although 2mm change is a lot at 16mm, I
am considering selling my 14/2.8 and 20-35/2.8 to get one of these, if only
to save weight when traveling on vacations.
