Whoops! Sorry, I started thinking about the Nikon F80S solution which does print exposure data between each exposure. Of course the Canon solution would have been much more eloquent if it included more info than just the roll ID and counter. I believe a Contax product does print all the pertinent data and even the camera mode on frame "00" during the rewind cycle or on the last exposure before rewind.
