Derek,

Your equipment list is quite similar to mine, and currenlty I am using to
different backpacks for different occasions so that I am not slow down by
too much weight.

17-35L
50/F1.4
85/1.2L
100Macro/USM
135/F2L
70-200L IS
300/F2.8L IS
EOS 1V & PB-E2

1.4X Tele-converter II
2X Tele-converter II

550EX Flash

Gitzo 1349 MK2 tripod with Swiss Arca B1-QR
Gitzo 1568 monopod with Kirk QR

For selective equipment I will use LowePro S&F Specialists 85AW (The reason
for this pack is that it can fit a 300/f2.8 plus two 2-3 lens, flashes and
about 10-20 rolls of films. If needed, 70-200 can be attached using either
Canon's supplied soft case or optional lens cases by LowePro. Please note
that you need to get the Harness & Belts option to convert this to backpack.

For a full gear, I will use a LowePro Photo Trekker backpack, the
suspension system is better than the small pack, but is relative heavy.

Hope this is useful.
