Electrical characteristics (NiMH versus lithium) aside, they appear
to be of different sizes.
NB-5H: 34 x 22 x 49 mm
2CR5: 34 x 17 x 45 mm
Of course, these are just the results of a quick Google search, so
not entirely authoritative...
