Yes, it's true. I have a NB-5H here in my hand and it's much thinker
than a 2CR5. So in fact when Canon speaks about compatibility, they mean
that you can use a 2CR5 in place of a NB-5H but not vice versa.
Considering how quickly my Powershot S10 eats batteries, this wouldn't
be much fun anyway ;-(
