If it is anything like the 1(n), then you don't get these cover
plates with the grip itself; only with the camera, and only with the
body-only AFAIK (which then includes the normal grip, like you want
to order afterwards)....with the HS-package (camera + booster), these
cover plates are omitted....
Not sure what Canon asks for these little buggers....if at all.
OTOH, I doubt that they have them available at CPS-events
either, so it might not be disposable & free....not an item often
needed by pro's; they'll have a complete HS-version most of the
time....
