This seems to work (or not) with JavaScript again.

JavaScript is enabled in my browser, but when
clicking on the thumbnails I won't see the
fullsize pictures, but just a white window
with a bit of black text. Not a good idea,
locking out potential customers.

On the other hand, right click works, and I
can see (and mess with) the source code. Doesn't
seem very reliable to me.

I came to the conclusion that pictures cannot
be realiably and fully protected from download
on the Web. (Looking at a web picture in the
browser is just another way of downloading, and
there are just too darn many different browsers
out there.)

What can be done is to discourage downloads by
making it inconvenient to do so. (That's the
basic idea behind the JavaScript stuff.)

I'm toying with the idea of cutting the image
into four pieces and allowing downloads. Some
people might not notice and only download 1/4
of the image. Others might use site-crawlers
for downloading, in which case they will have
all four pieces, but will still have to put
the individual pieces together in PhotoShop.
