David

I haven't got this lens but I've had some experience using either a Nikkor
50mm f1:1.2 and, specially, a Leica M Noctilux f1:1. These are lenses which
need a very good skill as they have so short DOF that when you are, or you
believe you are, focusing in the eyes, you'll find after that you focused
really on the nose. Their main aim is getting pictures in very bad light
conditions when, using a very speedy film, you get pictures handheld than
others cannot. As those lenses represent a strong investment I think than a
test before purchasing would be a great idea.

Kind regards

Felix
