Hi guys,
Have been using Tokina's 28-80 f2.8 ATX Pro lens, but it has developed
problems in focusing if I use anything but the centre focus point on my EOS
1D. Am planning to splash out on Canon's own marque 28-70 2.8L, but wonder
if there's anything on the rumour mill about an upgrade or new lens of
comparable focal length?
Also, I resisted buying Canon's lens before
a) to save money, and
b) I don't like the fact that it isn't a fully internal zoom i.e. the front
of the lens comes out from the lens body when zoomed. Has anyone had
problems with dust creeping into the lens as a result of this?
Cheers ears,
James
