Do you mean it's developed problems and has broken? Or is it just incompatible
with the EOS 1d? If it's incompatible, Tokina has a pretty long warranty and
may fix it for you. I just picked up the old Tokina 28-70 2.8 for around $200
and it won't focus with my EOS 3 but it's a great clunker for my Elan. :)
