I'm curious if anyone has used this lens and has any comments on it? I've
been using one of the Vivitar 100mm macros, which was cheap but ok, but now
I'm looking for a better lens and more working distance. This older f/2.8
model is within my budget, although Canon's 180mm isn't (still recovering
from the D60 purchase). I know both the Tamron and Sigma 90mm lenses are
well thought of, but I've not heard much about this lens.

I also like the faster (versus their current f/3.5 HSM offering) aperture,
if the lens is reasonably good it might make some trips the 70-200 2.8L is
too heavy for. In fact, I'm really thinking it would be a nice long lens to
complement my 20-35 and 28-135, especially on the D60. But I don't know
about it optically, or for that matter if it will even work on the EOS3/D60.
I expect KEH can answer that question, they have several for sale at what
appear to be attractive prices.

Thanks for your opinions as always.

Tom P.
