There is clearly shifting of the mount area on my 7E with the 300 f2.8 L lens - it is a consumer camera, and, as such is a lot of (good) plastic. Even the 70-200 can be seen causing the front of the camera to flex a bit.
Anyways, IMO, agree it simply should not be contrasted with a 1V - two TOTALLY different cameras, different markets, costs points, etc etc. Consumer vs pro, no argument, proven by not only auto-focus speed but general build strength. If you've never used a camera in active photojournalism, 5-6 days a week of hard use, you won't understand the real beauty of a 1V (or an F1, if you're my age!) which is why they're built this way. dave adams www.imaginequus.com * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
